Way too long...

so i just realized it's been just shy of a year since my last blog...i warned you when i started this thing that i'm terrible at keeping up with blogs :/

I don't even know where to start as far as what's been going on since last November...

My sister Melissa has been out of the hospital since last oct/nov and hasn't had any problems since which is such a blessing! she's doing very well - less seizures, able to eat all food, starting to be able to drink her much missed Dr Pepper, and still just at stubborn as ever.
Mary just started her sophomore year, still playing tennis, and is learning to drive - how old does that make you feel?!?!
Rest of the family is doing well...nothing new on that front.

In June I moved to my own apt in Frisco and LOVE it! It's so nice living by myself and I've had a blast with all the new decorating and picking out the new furniture. my fav purchase by far up to this point is my washer/dryer which i never thought i'd admit to, but its fabulous and well worth the money.
Last weekend, I went to Austin to visit with Jess and had so much fun. I've never really been to Austin so it was a fun new experience. I love all the cute old little shops, the YUMMY food, and the general way of living - much different from the Frisco I'm used to...very hippie...which is fun :) not to mention that I always love seeing Jess and her family and miss them greatly when I don't get to see them.
I'm seriously considering getting a new puppy...ok so i'm completely sold on it i just have to figure out what kind i want and make sure I have the funds to do so. i'm looking at getting a comfort golden (really I want a golden retriever but they are too big and arent allowed at my new apt complex). so hopefully in the next six months i'll have a new addition to my family :)

Other than that, I've just been working a lot, reading a lot more lately, and just hanging out with friends...nothing else new or tragic, and considering the previous years track record it's been a pretty darn good year :) and hopefully it wont be another year before i make another blog entry ;)
